Andrew Rose Gregory is a singer and songwriter. In 2011 he released a lush adaptation of The Song of Songs featuring The Color Red Band. He followed it up in 2012 with The Covers EP, a collection of music videos of him and The Color Red band playing some of his favorite songs live in-studio. His songs have been performed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tony Danza, Markiplier, and Blondie. For several years he was the songwriting teacher at University of Virginia’s Young Writers Workshop, and often returns as a visiting writer. His next album, Orion, is coming out in the fall of 2020. They have been lucky to work with a number of their heroes, including ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Blondie, Weezer, Darren Criss, Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero of ‘The Room,’ and Vice-President Joe Biden. They also helped create the theme song of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, have produced eight Op-Docs for The New York Times, and provided a musical mash-up for the 2011 Academy Awards.
